There is one setting in the Teams app for "animations" but it actually appears to be a FaceTime setting > Reactions (Teams uses the built in FaceTime camera which activate with certain hand gestures). Facetime is built into the operating system. As such, it may save that minuscule amount of data to iCloud. It's 0.0064% of your total storage, which you're nowhere close to using. I wouldn't worry about it.
