And there's a really easy and difinitive way to tell the difference - the 1:7 barrels have a conspicuous "178" stamped down near the trunnion indicating 1 twist in 178mm. The 1:12 barrels are not marked 178. Don't let anyone try to sell you one as a 1:7 twist barrel if it doesn't have the marking.Thumbhole stock. Barrel shroud. I have received two different opinions about how to do the barrel. 1) cut the HK94 barrel, thread and weld on the 3 lug adaptor; or 2) buy and install an MP5 barrel. My 94 barrel is in great shape and the cut and weld looks to be the cheaper option.If you have an hk barrel i would carefully store it for when needed. Only reason I say "almost" is because they are a younger company and not as much time has passed to really see how durability compares to German barrels. Dakota Tactical uses them frequently.Details.
