r/nycrail • Due to today's heavy rainfall, this R train was rerouted via the C to 145th Street. I don't recall that this has ever happened before. The train crews even announced it as an R all the way to the end. Very unique reroute!MNR has the seats facing away from the middle while LIRR has the middle seats facing towards the middle. MNR’s design is both better but worse because it creates seats facing each other right by both doors as opposed to the one in the middle. Although both still have facing seats on both of the corners of the car.

The (N) is a merge nightmare, and has to split its throughout with the (W). The 4 is my favorite subway line, but I disagree with the 2, A, F, and N being in Great because they haven't been running too well in my experience. The N runs great. The F is slow, but it runs to useful places. The A is great when it shows up.
